TIRE CHANGERS

Match the changer to the tires your shop handles.

The right tire changer depends on wheel diameter, tire profile, run-flat requirements, service volume and technician workflow.

What is it?

A tire changer separates a tire from its wheel and helps remove and install the tire without relying on manual tire irons. Different configurations handle everyday passenger tires, low-profile performance tires, run-flats and specialty wheels.

How it works

The wheel is clamped or centered on the machine. A bead breaker releases the tire, then a mount/demount head and optional assist arms guide the bead over the rim during removal and installation.
